Personally I would use a single esc with 10s in series and a big, low kv motor.

Nice truck man... Do you think it's safe to mount ESCs so high though?

i always run with a body pretty high...i hope not to do any top speed endos,I just mounted new body and new green wing...i do NOT love the ESC mounting position but there is not much extra room....I TRIED EVERYTHING AND EVERY OPTION to get them lower...it aint hapnin!

when i ran the duals before i had much more weight with the 24 Nimh batts,i had probs with the input and output trani shafts breaking in two...is lighter with LIPO so lets see if it holds up!!!...i have all aluminum ULTRAMAXXED gears, hardened steel modified input/output shafts,UE spider8's and titanium CVDs and center drive shafts...the drive line cant be any stronger...new pics and Video tomorrow...Zippy's are charging now

My prediction: A major drive component breaks the second you get comfortable with it and try to do something cool. NiMH doesn't compare to LiPo in something of this scale. It's gonna be scary.
