I know they have been posted before but I'd be interested to get some thoughts on how they'd been able to achieve this. Has anyone bought any of the batteries? What are the temps like and any impact on capacity? Cheers |

Most lipos can discharge at rates above 5c, they must have found a way to manage recharging better. From what I can remember most dc batteries (are there any other kind?) discharge easier than the recharge. Lead acid batteries readily give up electrons from the zinc to the copper (or vice-versa, I can't remember), but are not to fond to give it back, thus slower charge rates work best for those. Seems like the nano-phosphate tech is the best so far at accepting high amp charges. So maybe it is just a combination of increased tolerances, material improvements and better chemistry... |
