Made CRT.5 battery tray and esc, reciever mount top-plate on the mill.. PICS - 02.02.2009, 12:22 AM

Got on the CNC last week and made me a battery holder as light as i could and also a top plate for a spot for my esc and reciever. I'm using a losi 4800kv xcelorin system, ACE 1015 servo, and starting off with a 12t pinion. Using nimh just for now to get an idea on size. Pics suck but let me know what yall think!

Thanks. Since those pics i have countersunk the holes for the top plate so i can use tapered head screws and won't stick up past the top and get in the way of mounting the reciever flat. Also both the esc and dsm2 reciever are stuck on with servo tape now. The only thing i wish i could do is figure out how to either get the battery laying flat or more close to the center. The balance is way off to the point where i need to put some lead on the other side. Hopefully when i switch to lipo it won't be as bad. Also, what shock oil do yall use in the shocks? Highest i had laying around was 100 and its waaay too soft.

New parts look great! Most people have upgraded the stock shocks for this very reason. No matter what, they were too soft. I, as well as many others, are running Revo/Jato shocks on the front and front 1/8 buggy shocks on the rear. Here is a thread talking about it:

Can I just remind ppl again that this is Mikes forum to support his business - Only personal sales should go through this site and NO sales of items that compete with Mike such as battery trays or mounts / top plates.

Anything else is like going poopie in Mikes back garden. Not very nice.
