Is the Flux ruining our fun? - 02.03.2009, 12:56 PM

With the Flux getting out and about amongst us all, I really wonder if it's worth all the effort in building a conversion anymore...

Whilst I realise that for the large part, we [here] tend to submerge ourselves in the engineering challenge of making effective and strong brushless conversions, I fancy that HPI have essentially rendered most Savage conversion products obsolete.

The Flux appears to be a masterstroke, it's strong, fast, tough and looks great. I will be getting one sometime soon (None around here locally yet) to run [stock] alongside my G3 & G3R trucks.

I had planned on a Savage XL project and in fact have a Kershaw direct drive assembly on its way as I write, but I now doubt whether I'll even take it out the wrapping........
