Crt .5 w/ MM and Feigo 9l - 03.01.2009, 08:34 PM

I just bought this whole set up form a guy over at BYT, Im new to this type of brushless set up. I have a few questions that I hope you dont mind answering.

1. What is the max number of lipo cells I can run on thee CC Mamba Max? ( I have seen somewhere its 4 with a CC BEC)

2. Where should I start with gearing? Im gonna use Buggy 2.2 tires

3. What diff oil thickness should I run in the diffs?

With a regular mamba max witht the bec disabled (remove red wire) you can run 4s with no problems. Some people have luck with 5s and others don't.

I don't know how to gear it as I have an outrunner in mine, but why aren't the gears already in the car?

1. 4 is overkill IMO...I run 3s on mine and it flies
2. start w/17 and check temps often...it really depends on how fast you want to go
3. I run 7 10 3...I need to go a tad thicker in the center diff

Even on 3s you will want a bec of some sort..If running a bec, don't forget to remove the RED wire from the rx plug...don't cut it, just remove and secure it out of the way w/tape or hear shrink
