Who's getting an SC10? - 04.12.2009, 11:15 PM

I'm pretty sure I'm going to race one at the local track. I could race the MGT 8.0 I just got, but I think this will be more fun.

I ordered the sc10, should be here by Tuesday, is it a painted lid like the pic or do I have 5 hours of painting this crap again, Im throwing the losi 4800 on 2s in it, hear those tires on it are crap and would be lucky to handle that forget 3s. None the less Ill check it as I wreck it and offer my 2 cents

You've got a few hours of painting, but I hear that the stickers are pretty nice and plentiful.

I'll have mine in by the end of the month. Nothing more than a pretty fast basher with a sidewinder/5700 combo.

Got mine last Tuesday and ran it at the track yesterday with a Tekin RSPro and Redline 9.5 motor. The handling between the Slash and the SC10 is night and day. I plan to slowly upgrade parts if/when they fail.
I'm hoping that we'll have enough people to race a SC10 class on Tuesday.

Mine came in on Saturday. It's still sitting in the box until I can take some time to put it together.

I should have mine tomorrow if the tracking numbers are correct. Thinking a gtb with a sensored motor of some type... I have a 13.5 e40 hacker, ss8500 novak, reddy 3 star, speed passion 4.5 or a novak 3.5r.... 2s seems plenty for something like this. I also have a xxx cr buggy that I need to put equipment back in. Most likely put the ss8500 in the sc10 and the reedy in the xxxcr. Those motors are not too potent. I need to do something with all of this sensored stuff, might even have a 17.5t motor laying around.

Got mine a few days ago. (Have stock & modified Slash. Race only!) Saw Two SC10s destroy the field during slash race. Had to use my mod. w/castle 7700 geared at 15p-90s. Anyway using Ofna orange inserts in front & AKA black inserts in back. 40 weight front shocks 45 rear & 10k Dif Fl. Will change to 7k or 5k. Will test first. Running MM & 6900 (fans on both) Sorry Brian G. (just kidding) geared at 23 - 87, JR 9000 servo & EnerLand 5000 lipo. I know that i have way to much POWER. Going to pick up Two Castle 5700s. For Mod. Slash & SC10. then by by fans.
