My new addition to the barn! - 04.21.2009, 11:17 PM

Hello my friends,

Thought I would share some pics of the new addition

She is a RC8 Factory Team edition with a Mamba Monster 2200kv combo running a zippy 25-35c 4000mah 6s... As you can see I am running the blast-phaltline combo and have a custom proline shift body in the works to complete the truggification process

This is my first big scale that has gotten to the piont of running and I must say I am impressed with this rig.... Makes a hell of a pavement pounder IMO. I have a few small mods in the works but for the most part she will remain pretty stock other then a few suspension tweaks and drop. So far I have increased the center diff to 60k and the front and rears to 10k oils but still having some powertransfer issues... Nothing big with the new oils but i think i may need to move to 100k in the center... Anyone have any suggestions? I run strictly on pavement and still have a slight amount of power transfer to the front... Very small though. I feel as if I could use a lift in the front and rear oils as well but i dont want to lose to much steering and I feel like there has been a large effect already as far as that goes. I have always run spools or locked diffs in the front to aid in on power steering so i am thinking I may keep the rears as is but move the front up to 25-50k after moving up the center... Any opinions on this?

thanks for the help and hope you like her I'll post up some udates as she grows....

Heath
