My Savage Flux runs at last!!! - 05.08.2009, 10:23 PM

Well, after delay after delay, I finally at long last got to run my new Savage Flux yesterday. Whata blast! To bad the damn wind was so bad it kept knocking over my damn camera tripod.

http://www.savage-central.com/module...wtopic&t=81784

I managed to snag some video before I got sick of the wind chill. Sorry about the damn camera strap, hope this weekend it will be nicer to run. Sick of that damn pinion bolt coming off so i'm red loctiting that damn thing this weekend.

EDIT: After two runs, the body already looks like hell. Owell, a nice new proline body is always a must for a new monster truck!

The reason you can't drive is that ugly coat your wearing. Go get your self a decent Blue and Gold jacket to wear, and it will vastly improve your driving ability and run times!
GOOOOOO CATS!

BTW - looks like Frenchtown area????

Losi 8T 1.0, Savage Flux - XL style, LST XXL, Muggy, 3.3 E-Revo Conversion and sitting outside 425hp, 831 Tq Dodge Ram Turbo Diesel. It SMOKES

Just got back from "Mini Death Valley" bash pit today and I had a freaking blast!!! My SMC's 6000mAh 28C batteries clocked in at 37 minutes of run time on my stop watch!! This thing has so much freaking power, it absolutely puts my Revo 3.3 to shame. I can't imagine this thing with 6S of power, but now I can't help but be curious....

Here's some pics of her in action!

Those are some of the best action shots I have seen! Great job on the camera action. How hot were the smc 9000 lipos after the run?

Lol, thanks. Not bad for driving AND taking the pictures. I have the SMC 6000, not the 9000. They were warm after but then again, it was 60F outside with the sun baking the rocks and dirt so I can't imagine them being cool.

Super action shots, what camera are you using to get those?
I would love to have a Flux Savy and a bashing ground like that!

Damn, these batteries were empty! I'm pretty dang sure I had the Auto lipo off cause just all of a sudden the car just basically stopped running cept for a few short bursts of power so I went ahead it shut it off.
