Best connector for MMM and polyquest 3S 4500mah? - 06.03.2009, 09:58 PM

Hi guys,

I was wondering if theres better connector to use than the traxxas one for the e-revo?

I ask because ive seen threads about that and was wondering...

We are doing speed runs with it, heres the setup:

-MMM esc
-Neu 1515 1.5D
-3S Polyquest 30c 4500mah / maxamp 5250mah 3S 30C

I heard about 6mm connector giving more amp ??

Im learning about electrics, any help will be greatly appreciated !

Mike :)

I have 5.5mm bullets on everything. If the EC5 connectors weren't so damn expensive I'd have them because they insulate/protect the bullets and are easier to pull apart.

which would be able to handle higher current? deans or 4mm plugs? sorry for the thread hijack, but i have deans now, but since the chinese ones are no longer available, i am not going to pay $3+ for a single pair of plugs. i also like how 4mm bullet plugs are super easy to solder.

They say a good mechanic only needs 2 tools - WD40 & Duct tape. If it moves, and its not supposed to, duct tape. If it doesn't move, and its supposed to, WD40.
