Maxx Adapters for E-Pede - 01.25.2006, 06:37 PM

I've read a lot on here and various other places regarding using the Maximizer Products adapters to put Maxx wheels on a Stampede. However, the Maximizer adapters are designed for the Nitro Stampede, correct? It looks like the Nitro uses 5 x 11 x 4mm bearings whereas the Electric uses 5 x 8 x 2.5mm bearings...is this right? So would one need to change the spindles out to the nitro version or simply get 5 x 11 x 4mm bearings?

Thanks,
Sean

You could do the front steering to the Nitro version, that's what I did to my Rustler. It's a much smoother setup than stock, and steering is actually increased with the Nitro version.

What do you have to do for that metal man? I may do this if it works better.

Peace!

It's detailed under "Nitro Rustler caster block & spindle conversion" here:

I also carry the wild dagger adapter(when someone orders the adapters, I clarify if they have an electric or nitro pede). The WD adapters have 4 hexes and work on the electric pede with the addition of some spacers(which I also throw into the package when they are ordered). If you have an electric pede and order the adapters from me, I will make sure you get what you need to make it work!
