Binding a SR3000 receiver with one hand a plugging in the batt with the other. - 06.09.2009, 04:45 PM

Can't remember which thread it was but it was mentioned what a pain it was to hold down the bind button the the receiver while plugging in the battery pack. Mainly due to the lack of a switch on the esc (MM not to mention and names). I went throught that frustration also.

One day I had to bind one and wasn't really thinkng about it. Plugged the battery pack in everything whistled, beeped, whirred (?) or wooshed. I then push the bind button down on the receiver and held it there until it started flashing. Pushed the bind on the DX3R and it was magic. No more frustration of holding a screw driver in your teeth to push and hold the button down while you plugged in the deans plugs that are right by your ear. Fear of the spark catching you sideburns on fire. At my age I would have to include the wild ear hairs that have been showing up. Definatly makes a large popping noise that close your ear. lol

Anyways, I meant to tell a few other about the revelation. I know a few of you are going to chime in a say you already knew that. Well why the hell didn't you tell the rest of us then?
