Making the Raze ST Brushless - 06.13.2009, 08:24 PM

I see that there is a Brushless motor mount for the Raze here. will this work for the Raze ST as well? Should i think, because the Buggy and the Truggy use a lot of the same parts. What else would i need to convert to Brushless? Lipos are give, i was thinking about the EZRUN setups, with a cheap motor just for the time being. Thoughts? HELP!

You will need a battery tray... the Rc-monster units are some of the best you can get

For 2370kv, go with 4s. 5000 25c should suit you well and not be too heavy. Buy 2-3 of those and have 1 running, 1 charging and 1 charged waiting for use. Get the turnigy 2370kv combo, it's identical to the EZRUN, just a different sticker.

i'm thinking about getting the turnigy combo too, but my concern is the warranty. i don't think you can send it in to hobbywing like u can the EZrun system.

They say a good mechanic only needs 2 tools - WD40 & Duct tape. If it moves, and its not supposed to, duct tape. If it doesn't move, and its supposed to, WD40.

Take this for example- the hpi flux systems. You can send them directly to CC for repair/service although they were not distributed directly from CC. Why wouldn't this be the same for the EZRUN systems, because EZR is part of hobbywing, the mf. of these systems, and I believe hobbywing sold to turnigy keeping the HW warranty intact. I could be wrong though.
