Since I'm keeping my RC18T and getting a job at the end of the summer I want to plan my 1/8 Truggy build. I'm not set on any single truggy but the Hyper ST is at the top of my list because of it's amazing durability which is #1 to me. I want to do something different with the build and make it a HV set-up. From what I've seen Higher Voltage and Lower KV is the best way to go (Is this only true to a point?). So I decide to throw a quick list together...
Turnigy 2650mah 6S 30C Battery x2
Medusa 36-70mm 750kv Motor
Turnigy Sentilon100A HV 5-12S BESC
I'm pretty sure the Motor and Batteries are good but I'm not so sure about the ESC. I don't want to spend anything over the Price of a MMM just to keep the price in the ball park of your traditional conversion. Would one of Lutach's ESCs be better or is there something else out there that I should know about?
Also one disadvantage I do see is the weight... The Hyper ST is already heavy and with a HV set-up would that be too much?
