Smile Team Associated XP3D Radio w/ (HobbyCity) Assan 2.4ghz System - 06.24.2009, 12:10 AM

I'm going to be doing a review once I get the module which should be in a few days. I already have the radio in hand. I'm going to test: Range, Ease of Use, Functions, Reliability, and Durability.

Please keeping mind this is my first computer Radio...

OK cool. I should be here tomorrow if someone is home to pick up the package, or if it fits in the mailbox.

Working on the review now. So far the only bad thing is that the module must be inserted upside down and it bothers my OCD but oh well it still works great.

I'm sorry but the 10 picture limit made everything more complicated LOL

I'll post the review later. I don't have my RC18T running to I can't give it a real world test or range test it... But everything was easy as pie to install and bind!

Looks good. Because your radio is 3ch you can only use 3 of the 7 channels correct? Wait.. duh.

This combo should be excellent for price/performance of a 2.4G system. I use the Assan stuff in an old Futaba 3PJS. I've had no problems and range is great. I love the 4 channel micro receivers for $20.

Is that Assan stuff meant for air or surface application? I've never seen a surface reciever with 7 channels.

Aye cool. I've got an AE XP3D radio that I had in a junk bin from my used RC8 buy. Didn't come with a receiver so I had no use for it. How much did the conversion cost, I might change mine over to have another usable TX.
