SC10 BL Setup - Cogging? - 07.20.2009, 09:12 AM

I'm running a Orion Vortex 60A ESC Nosram Dragon 9.5t on a cheap 20c 2600 lipo (FTX)

Basically after being all setup if I give it throttle it doesn't move... I mean at all.

I was advised:

Quote:
Unplug the sensor wire, disconnect the battery, then reconnect. This should reset the ESC to sensorless mode. It will then work (but be really jerky). Rev it a few times. Now reconnect the sensor wire, switch off and switch back on. Voila - back in sensored mode and working again.
I got to the sensorless revving and it cracked, popped and then smoked, so I'm thinking I've now killed the motor.

So I've run out of ideas, any help is greatly appreciated.

Stu
