Futaba 3PM Brake Adjustment Help Please! - 07.27.2009, 09:08 PM

Hello. I recently got a Futaba 3pm 2.4GhZ Radio It is a bit complex...it's nice I like it a lot.
The only thing is when I apply brake power to my truck, it locks up the wheels instantly, there is no slow down, just either no brake or all the way brake.
Is there any way to adjust it so that I can dial in the brake power without instantly completely braking? It's hard on my tranny and makes negotiating the track hard to do.
Thanks for any help!

It sounds to me like your esc settings are just a bit to strong.

I have the FM version of the 3pm and it is a bit complex to say the least. It took me at least a year of using it to be comfortable w/it and I still forget from time to time. How do you like the manual? A bit intimidating to say the least.

I have never really played around w/the expo, but that is where I would start after checking my esc setings

First time I used the radio w/the esc...I almost totaled my mbx-5. Hit a concrete post doing 40! Luckily, it took out only the front a-arm. I forgot to adjust the brakes and it was set very low.

Glad everything worked out for you.
