Arrow How tough is the Gorillamaxx suspension? - 02.07.2006, 10:32 PM

Hi, i've been considering the gorillamaxx suspension for my TMaxx truggy, and I was wondering how tough is the suspension, Racing at my local track gets kind of agressive sometimes and i want to make sure it would be tough enough.

Let me know your opinions experiences etc. I aprecciate it.

Thanks

it is relativly tough i have only had one crash in which there was damage to it. It is certainly not the strongest i would say that the integy suspension would be better if you are looking for toughness but if you are looking for a good lightweight suspension the g3 is good for you.

like boss said, the integy if you need strength. i would go with the integy simply because of the true-trac rear suspension which results in less possible parts to break.

Ive had this suspension a little will but ave been unable to run it yet.

It looks very well made and the finnish is amazing. Also what stands out is how light it is. I also reay like the low shock towers.

As said i dont think it will be the strongest out there, but it still seems very robust. Also there are many adjustments that can be made to alter the perfromance of the suspension.

All suspension under the right conditions can be bent or broke. The integy is nice. The gorilla is lighter. For all out strength and stuff ue.

yeah thats why I havent looked at UE, I know that the Racer X used sells about the same as a new integy type 3, I would buy a used Racer X but I live over seas and if I ever need a replacement part UE will charge me a fortune only in shipping, I once wanted to order a dogbone and they wanted to charge me more than 25 dollars for shipping and I had to say No.

I might try the Integy type 3, at least with that suspension it would be very easy for me to get replacement parts if I need them.

Anyone around here is running Integy suspension?

I like the integy myself. Especially for the price. It seems to hold up pretty well.

Not by ue. Just packaging is destroyed and the contents are lost.
