And WOW! 12s input (50v), only one drawback, It's the same size as the sidewinder or bigger. here's the link i found, nothing on castle yet

That's freakin' awesome looking! The $45 pricetag is not too bad either. Not compared to the hobbyshitty 10s bec going for $20, but this is a CC product...

Look at the schematic of how to wire it in. It shows a green out-runner. Hinting some thing here??? And why is it only rated for 6s input in cars? |

CC is releasing a line of outrunners. There's a thread on it in the CC section. Yeah, why is it rated for <25v in cars? That sucks! I bet it's because of the highpower servos we use for braking and steering. Hopefully they'll revise that spec., because the current CC bec does fine on 6s, with only 10a max. So, I suppose with this 20a max, it can handle 2x the voltage under the same load, correct?

Its only rated to 6s for cars due to high braking voltages on car controllers.. There is a review of the Bec Pro coming out in RCDRiver next month ;)

Looks like a Great product!
With such a broad range of adjustable output voltage, I can see it having other uses as well. |
