Futaba MC950CR Brushless ESC looks promising

Futaba has a brushless esc available that looks promising for the 1/10 crowd. It has current limiters and current limiter timer. You can mess around with the pwm for forward, brake and reverse. DATALOGGING built in. This is something that Tekin and Castle still don't have.

I figure that the esc will run a 2.5T motor on 6V with the fan. Yes the amp ratings are bs ofcourse just like most ESC on the market, but it has some nice features.

So if it's rated for 900a and 1300a bursts, will the current limiter stop current at 1300a? But wow, 900a this thing can do over 6000w on 2s lipo!

I think it'll work in a touring car, but not much else. There's no heatsink.

Castle has it for their plane controllers with a built in adjustable BEC. They'll have it for their cars soon.

Ah yes, I do know they have it for their ice stuff, but they don't have it for their car ESC's. I had asked castle about the datalogging feature in the MMPRO and they said there isn't enough "space" really for it in the current microcontroller.

6000W ehhehehhe You still need to add the flux capacitor option

Tekin rspro doesn't have a heatsink, but yet can work in a 1/8 when setup properly. Most likely you can add a heatsink like the Ko Propo esc and Orion version onto the Fatuba and call it good. But who knows.
