Hey guys, thinking about putting a 1521/1.5d (1900kv) neu in a summit on 6s. Will the motor even fit? Just a thought.

Why?
The summit is a trail truck/ crawler- if you want a massively powerful/fast truck, buy an Erevo...
It will fit though, but you may have to loose any of the micro servos that are in the way & their linkages.
I wouldnt try shifting gear either, or locking/unlocking the diffs whilst moving, as they will strip like a pole dancing hooker...

People are running 2200kv's in the Summit with no problem. Granted, they aren't shifting in motion or locking diffs while running as Neil said. This is plenty of power for the Summit.

In a Summit ? Sounds silly..
Buy another truck for the Motor and Lipo.
I retired from RC, now life is all about guns and long range shooting.

Neil btw I already have an erevo, but thanks for the advice. Maybe a LST or an e-maxx? This is kind of like "project overkill" (in terms of power)

LST OR MUGGY OR get ready to hop up a Maxx bcuz it will not satisfy stock with that kind of power. IMO

A 1521 fits just nicely in a Gorillamaxx revo chassis even with a center diff. No where to mount a speedy though hahah
