hi guys ,well I decided to build a 1/8 onroad ,it will be running a MMMv3 speedy and on 4s lipo, was thinking maybe a Medusa 36/50 3300kv for motor but not shaw if it will have the torque needed to get this thing going as it is only a 50mm can.......................
That motor is definately on the samll side if you are looking to travel at any kind of speed- its the sort of motor that does really well in a rustler, so compare that to your 1/8 onroad.. The MMM systems are great for 1/8 scale in general, just depends how heavy the car ends up and the speed you are aiming for- max of 4s with the 2650kv motor, max of 6s for the 2200kv option (though the 2650 can be ran on 6s, it will only be good for speed runs really).
