Rc8te - CC 2200kv motor installation issue -

Hey Guys,
Just finished building my Rc8Te and had a problem with mounting the castle creation motor in the motor mount. The diameter of the motor seems to be a bit too large , as it scrapes against the chasis.
In order to get it fit , I had to remove the center differential with the motor mount attached and then install the motor in the mount.!!
Once the motor was mounted I could reinstall the center diff.
This gives me limited option of quickly changing the pinion as I cannot move the motor without loosening the center diff brackets.
Well I have xray mount and tekin motor. I cannot get to lower screw easily so taking whole front diff out and adjusting anything then is actually easier.
since you don't change pinions on daily basis (probably twice per lifetime to choose correct one) I don't think this will cause you much more trouble...
i used to have an rc8t with the AE motor mount and i ran both the MMM 2200kv motor and the tekin 1700kv motor and i never had any issues...and i 've had both AE's mount and mikes mount....and to be honest....i would always remove the center diff WITH the motor and motor mount attached....i found it easier to change the pinion and set the gear mesh that way....and once the mesh was set all you have to do is screw the diff back on (only 4 screws :))
