RC8B Factory team conversion - 10.24.2009, 04:48 PM

Hello
I'm working on building a RC8B Factory Team brushless.
I'm using the RC Monster conversion kit and replacing the center diff with a slipperential.
I will use a combo MMM v3 + 2200kv motor and most probably my 5S lipos.

I just need to get some RC8 parts to complete the work as the RCM kit seems to be dedicated to the RC8 and not to the RC8B (some changes occured like the servo plate....)

A few pics. Updates will follow.

That's painfully better looking than my RC8. I dream of big bores, new shock towers, and a 2nd slipperential (I have one in my trug). Nice job

Almost ready to race... just need to install the pinion and to check the shocks setup before going for some tests

I know this thread is getting a little old.
I am thinking about using the RCM chassis to convert an RC8B.

the OP said he had to get rc8 parts to make the conversion work but then did not explain what parts or the problem... can anybody tell me what the problem was? thanks.
