medusa 2000kv 36-60 questions - 10.25.2009, 11:13 PM

i got one of these motors with my buggy from Jason.

i can barely turn the motor shaft by hand. i think there might be an internal short.

also, i am planning on gearing for ~40mph with this 2000kv motor, would i be better off with 4s lipo or 5s lipo?

They say a good mechanic only needs 2 tools - WD40 & Duct tape. If it moves, and its not supposed to, duct tape. If it doesn't move, and its supposed to, WD40.

I have several Medusa 36-60 motors. They are all hard to turn by hand. The Magnets in these are so powerful. NO Worries, that's normal.

It's probably better on 4S. You're gonna be really impressed. If you go with 5S, it might run a little warm for your liking unless you add a fan.
