Found an old vid of my mini-t, thought I'd share... - 10.27.2009, 02:46 PM

Hey guys!
Just found a video, a friend of mine made of my Mini-t with the 8000kv cc-system @ 3S lipos. Quality isn't that good, the car was a bit (too) quick for my friend and stupitube killed the musik tried audio swap but still no sound, sorry.
But it was such a fun making that video, I thought it won't hurt if I were to show it to you anyways, even if it's not perfect.
Just click play and imagine you hear the song "the only" from "stati-x".

Is that the 8000kv CC system with the mamba-25 ESC? If so, doesn't your ESC get to warm @ 3S LiPo?

Yep it is and nope it isn't
It is the mamba25 with the 8000kV motor.
But the ESC isn't getting hot, the motor is

This was my first car that not only had a BL-setup but was LiPo powered as well. Back then I knew nothing about gearing and all that mystical stuff, so it is most likely hard core undergeared (cool esc, hot motor, warm batteries?) but it never complained. Only most of the stock parts kept complaining untill they broke and were replaced with hopups...
But the mini-t never was anything serious, so basicly I don't care if it's getting hot or not. Normally something breaks bevore I can drive long enough to overheat the electrics.

edit:
A few PICs of the mini-t (has more aluminium parts now):

If anyone should be interested, which I can't really imagine...
