Warrior 9920 messed up?

I drove my 1/8 buggy today on a skate park. The ground was wet but there were no deep areas of water (plassen in Dutch) But after 5minutes driving the esc was acting weird. When I hit the throttle you hear a very weird beep and the pinion is moving: left-right-left-right etc. and very fast. The motor and esc were the whole time hand-warm. I drove back to home and made a video of it with pinion mounted and without.

It looks like a radio problem, what radio are you using?

That's scary. See if any wire's are makeing contact with any metal object(such as antenna, receiver wire's), check if the cristall's aren't damaged/ fully in their socket's.

Did you change any throttle/ brake setting's on your radio that day?

I disconnected the motor and made everything dry. Then I tried it again. And the weird noise and left-right problem was gone! So I drove the battery empty in the street in front of my house. So the problem is solved. I think the receiver or wires were getting to wet and made some interfence.

Water + electronics DO NOT mix. I never run my truck even if the ground is just damp, I don't think it's worth taking the risk. Good to hear everythings back working though Jasper

Wow, I drive trucks in the rain. Haven't had a problem yet (knock on wood) .
