What voltage are you planning on running? My MMPros have been doing good, but some people have been having trouble with the BEC on larger vehicles and/or certain servos. So unless you want to run 5-6s and/or want to run a sensored motor, I would just stick with the MM/BEC/caps.

If you feel like mailing them to me I can solder it all up and bench test for function... I would say to send me all of it and I could clean the buggy and put it all together and maybe even shoot a vid of me running it, but I am a bit busy with the new house and trying to sell the old one...

Anyway, I would REALLY like to hear how that thing handles and also how the quality is. (I made a thread about it a few months ago, but nobody posted a good review about this car...) Especially the driveline interests me. Please, PLEASE write a review about this car!
