looking for some shoes for my revo. - 01.19.2010, 10:58 PM

well im tired of my mashers just plain sucking at my local bashing spot.. i usually bash at a local bmx dirt track where its a mix of hard packed and loose dirt. they do ok in semi loose dirt but on either hard packed or loose stuff the truck just goes everywhere... maybe im asking alot from them but i would like something better.. should i be looking at something like the badlands or more of a track tire like the bowties for my type of bashing??

i occasionaly hit a grassy spot with a few jumps but my main area is the bmx track.

or if anybody has any opinions on other tires id love to hear it

im just kinda worried about having to glue my own tires as ive never done it b4 and dont want to ruin my new set of tires..

If you want a bowtie type of tire but do the big jumps look at the HPI DirtBones, they are a MT sized tire but with the track tread. I have a set and I use them for our BMX track visits.

+1 on the Dirt Bones. I have a set for my Savage and they get great traction every where. They are great overall bashing tires and wear very slow mine have lasted about a year and still have 60-75% of their tread. I highly recommend them.

Availible is Soft or Med compound, I myself have a set in MED and are over a year old and still plenty left yet.
