Good ol' Carslbad Raceway. I have been down that track many a time. It's closed down now unfortunately.
Poor little Mustang, he never had a chance.
Boss 302, I take it you are an old school Mustang fan?

There was a bettle at my local track I think would take him. He was a littler faster accually.

Johnny is that a 1/4mile track? It looks longer than mine.

Peace!

Yes Leroy, 1/4 mile (like squee said). That was actually a good track to run on because it was at sea level. It's in San Diego just a few miles away from the ocean. The guys that worked there were real jerks though. Treated you like crap if you drove an import, regardless of how fast it was.
I couldn't hear what the bugs 1/4 mile time was, but I did hear the trap speed of 107mph which should put it around a low 13 second pass, maybe high 12's just because it hooked up so well.

Whatever the time was, that is one freaking awesome beetle! Representing Deutschland!

I have a humble little beetle of my own...

Yeah I heard the speed as well. The one at my local track was a little faster i think. He would run a low 7 pass in the 1/8. My track is almost sea level to. Makes a difference on power. I hope to get my low 7 pass in this year. Maybe a hi 6. :027:

Peace!
