Has anyone run the Feigao 580L motors? - 02.07.2010, 09:24 PM

So im still looking for the perfect BL combo for an E-revo that will have dual duty....phaltlines for speed runs and some 6 inch tall tires for offroad bashing and play crawling.

I was thinking the novak setups at first but have heard they are way too touchy on gearing and heat up with larger tires (no dice).

I am considering the old stand by CC 2250/MMM (used) so we will see.

How about either one of those XE/EZ run 80A or 150A's and a Feigao 580L motor? The 6L is 1250 KV/v the 7L is 1900 KV/v and the 8L is 1650 KV/V.

I was originally thinking about solely running 2x2s but im thinking I will def want 6s for street runs.

So...anybody run one of these? If so which controller did you run and how many volts did you pump through it? Seems like this thing would be a torque MONSTER which would be nice for running large tires offroad. Would be nice to be able to gear sky high for onroad if I really felt the need to go over 60.
