Interest in ceramic bearing group buy? - 03.11.2010, 12:17 PM

I want to buy some 8x16x5 ceramic bearings from a factory in China, but I need to get 200 of them, and obviously I don't need that much. The bearings would be rubber sealed, abec 3, grade 5 ceramic balls. The cost would be $2 a piece.

Anyone have any interest in trying to put together a group buy? I would probably be looking to buy 36 myself.

Otherwise if someone knows a better place to get them (cheaper, less quantity) let me know.

Check with BOCA bearing for a bulk deal.
I only ordered 8 but they shipped for free , wouldn't hurt to ask at least ?

They are a pretty standard size bearing for 1/8th buggy and truggy. Maybe I should have specified that the measurements are in mm, but I figured everyone was familiar with this size.

8x16x5 is standard 1/8 bearing. however it is a waste to use ceramic bearings in offroad vehicles as dirt will destroy them as fast as any other bearings
