ready to cry

hi guys
has any one had this problem i
only got my gorilla maxx alltogether last weekend only run car 2x . i raced it tonight for the first time .1 st heat i blow every body away . 2nd heat done 2 laps then next minet car starts to blow smoke and then got really bad . iran down to the car and disconecked the battries real quick . i then toke of the shell and checked car out nothing had sorted out but there was some sort of flu wood. so i conected the battries again and held the car up and accelerated looking at the esc Warrior 12020.then out of what i think is called a dyawa or round black things on end of esc near red jumper one of them stared to blow smoke out of the end of it. i toke all battries off it. it did lose power about 1 lap be for it pissed out with smoke:035:

What do you mean with dyawa? you mean the capacitors?

I had a simaliar thing happen to me. My batteries shorted out on the chassis. I sent the esc back to mike for him to mail back to bk. I need a new capacitor on mine.

Yea serum - the cap. Mike is already all over this one. Thats no surprise though -- LOL -

Am I gonna suffer the same thing if I use my batts in the FLM chassis? how can I keep it safe from shortening?

i put bike tube under all my battries so they cant short out. serum yer they are capacitors thanks for that was not shore.
