potential good waterproof brushless setup - 06.10.2010, 04:52 PM

So Traxxas just came out with this nice rc boat http://traxxas.com/products/marine/5...5708_titan.htm but the cool thing is it uses a new VXL setup (Velineon 540XL motor/VXL-6s esc). If this combo becomes available I would think it would be a nice waterproof brushless setup.

I haven't seen specs yet, who knows if it has reverse or brakes.

it's just a feigao motor

max reverse is 15%, no brakes

you'd need to rip the watercooling off the esc and attach your own heatsink to the fets

Oddly enough, it wouldn't be a great truck system but it would be the bees knees in a boat

Hmmm guess you're right, oh well it was just a thought, maybe they'll come out with a VXL-6s truck version with the option to go sensored just like the VXL-3s

Maybe they will, whenever their agreement with castle expires.
