Couple of question.... - 06.18.2010, 10:41 AM

Hello,

Back to rc after taking a long break from it, so if some of my lingo, and terms are not correct forgive me, as its still coming back to me.
Ok here is the deal. I purchased a rc8te, I have just finished building it. I have not run the car yet at all. I noticed that the front right wheel has a tad bit more slop in it then the left one. Upon closer looking, I noticed that the ball end on the right side has just a tad bit more play in it then the left side...is this normal? How much wheel slop is acceptable. I have been out of the hobby for quite some time, and surprised that wheel slop still exists. I would think that by now manufactures would be able to eliminate or greatly reduce wheel slop, as its one of the biggest contributing factors to how a rc car handles.....what can be done....aluminum ball ends?? I dont know if the even make them...

Also.... I noticed that my rear driveshaft is not completely straight. It seems as if its a tad bit warped....is this normal or should i send it back to AE?
