Replace controller to motor wires - 04.08.2006, 07:44 PM

I cut one of my controller to motor wires a little shorter than I would like. Is it possible to remove the wire from the controller and solder on a new wire at the right length?

I'm not sure...but why did you cut the wires from the controller to the motor down for.....all of the cutting I did on mine ...was on the battery wires...and didn't even touch the motor wires......your best bet would to be ...contact Mike or BK directly with your question......

I do not see any problems with soldering, if you know how-to.

If you do not want to open BK controller (cut original shrinkrap) you can just extend existing wires with the part you cut of before. Strip both sides, solder them together (crimping with copper helps) and shrinkrap with heatshrink - DONE.
