Its absolutely hilarious when people complain about a product that they no nothing about, here is a PM from Rc-tech. I sold a perfectly working CC 2200kv motor and I get this in return.

hey man thanks for the fast shipping!! but... i have to say that the motor is junk. noticed that the shaft was more notchy than normal & that the shaft was unusually sticking out of the rear endbell. Well, installed it anyway since you said it runs fine & it made 1 lap then abruptly stopped in my ve8. Rotor doesn't turn at all. Had a 2200kv in it before (moved it to my truggy) & definately after first startup it didn't feel the same. I am unhappy & unsure what to do since this is my first bummer sale.

I dont know what He did but i yanked that motor out of my truggy when it was still warm and he manages to kill it.

that sucks dude....but don't let it discourage you....from now on just video test all your equipment...that's what i do. it keeps the douschebags honest.

Best thing you can do in this case is just communicate. Hopefully it doesn't turn into a he said she said thing. Do ensure him that he had used it now and that his use may have altered the motor as well. If he is half a decent person you two should be able to come to some better conclusion.

Some times things happen. I bought a 22oo off someone here and it was pretty much done. Bought it for 80, and the rear end cap was barely holding on. he front endcap had stripped mounting holes. I called him on it and he offered a partial refund because he refused a refund. I never saw the partial. I ended up sending it in to Castle for a non-warranty exchange. 160 for a motor. Kind of sucked.
