I think if we want a 4x4 baja we are going to have to make one ourselfs.
Now that BL power is avaible I think it will be much easier to do.
If HPI does make a 4x4 baja if will favor the gas version use belts to get power tot eh front.
There is a "knock off" company that makes a 4x4 baja and it uses belt drive to power the front wheels. You can find it on ebay.

Why not? Maxamps advertise with RC Driver magazine and supply batteries for some of the reviews. As the data logs showed they do fine in this application.

Based on the Savage Flux trailer I saw with MaxAmps batteries (Haven't seen many MaxAmps commercials.), you can pretty much expect 20-4+% more performance with HK batteries.

What size motor is that? 2200 Neu?

No, Castle produced their own conversion kit- I wouldnt like to speculate which is better as they both look rock-solid, guess it comes down to pricing ( Castle esc, motor & conversion kit in one whole package vs RC-M conversion kit + Castle esc and motor ).
