mmm giving me problems - 01.29.2011, 09:36 PM

ha ha, another thread like this. i know what the issue is i think. seems like the power leads have bad connetion on the board. this is the first time i've expereiced this issue, but i went to use it today and it suddenly shut off. i took my body off and grabbed a wire and heard popping. i thought it was my lipo at first but further inspection and i can hear it inside the esc and i can get it to turn on if i hold the wire in the correct position and don't move it.

can i repair this myself without voiding castles warrenty or replacement programs? i'm confident in soldering.

thanks.

Is it a v1, 2 or 3? If it is the v1 or 2 just send it back. If it is a v3 and out of warranty fix it yourself. It is in warranty send it back.

Or do a little dance and drink a little water.

It is entirely up to you.
