Rc8t Tekno conversion

Hi everyone I just purchased a Factory team rc8t with a Tekno v3 conversion. As you can see it still has the carbon fibre shock towers. I also just purchased a 2000kv leopard 4082 limited edition motor. I mean limited edition
as in it was only made for kershaw desgins so they are kind of "rare" you could say. Then I am waiting for the trackstar esc to get back in stock on hobbyking. I will be running this on 4s with a 16tooth long shank pinion. The only thing I don't like is the body because it is so bulky and sits over the suspension and neally hits the wing lol but i spose it saves me about $60 by the time you paint it Ect.and saves the shocks from getting scratched up and I guess it's the stock rc8t body also so it can't be that bad! It also will come with the original rc8t nitro chassis that has been modified to be used as electric! Which also has a battery tray,straps and esc mount. And it comes with the AKA cityblock tyres as shown in the pics. Please let me know what you guys think about my new race setup. Here's the link so you can see what it looks like.

The 4082 is not a smooth can, is it? Is it going to fit in the Tekno motor mount?

Edit: this is apparently true only for the KD version.

The motor has little fin things on it but if it doesn't fit with the fins I will make it fit by either sanding for filing a small amount off the fins. Let me know what you guys think of my new setup. Thanks

I thought I remembered seeing the 4082 somewhere else...OSE has it in the smooth-can version (including 2200kv):

yeah i got the 2000kv mainly because it has more grunt and it wont heat up as much but with the 2200kv motor that was a bit fast for the buggy i use to have so the 2000kv should be around 60km/h with a 17t pinion in the rc8te and yeah it might be a tight with the 42mm mount so i will shave some if the fins off.
