Thunderpower 5400mah 25c 4s Packs - 05.18.2011, 01:03 PM

Hey guys,

I just bought two 4S 5400mah Thunderpower 25c packs.

On the battery it says "Charge as 3-Cell or may cause fire"

What on earth does that mean? Is that purely if you're not balance charging it so the cells don't over charge?

Are you sure it doesn't say charge at 3c

C is the current charge rate

This is new for me, guessing it means dont charge more than 3c/15amps ?

I'm sure someone who can confirm or deny this will chime in so or later.

That looks like a VERY BAD Typo to me.

I'm sure that is supposed to says something like:

"Charge at 3C or less, or may cause fire"

It just doesn't make sense the way it is.

I would probably contact Thunderpower and show them that picture. My guess is, they're gonna freak.

You have to charge it as a 3 cell lipo... Duh

If you charge it as a 4 cell the power is so awsome your RC will catch fire!!!

But what do you set the LVC to????

Now I'm confused.

If I could only draw what I see in my head, then afford to build it, and finaly get to play with it...

could be a typo meaning to say charge as a 4 cell or it'll catch fire.
