Its the same motor as tacon and leopard, so its should be an decent 4 pole motor.

I havent runned it, but when i spin the shaft on x4082 and castle 1518, the castle one is like 10 times more notchy (stronger magnets i belive).

¿you tested/compared a leopard and a turnigy xk on the track using the same setup/car? the exterior of the motor is nothing ..... the most important is in the interior of the motor ...... we dont know if the quality of the interior components is the same ......... the leopards costs about +30-40% ..... and is possible turnigy use lower quality magnets/components for arrive at this prices ........

I had many 2 pole motors from hk and are a waste of money .... the price was great but the quality is poor ...... before speak I recommend test this motors and compare with leopard ....... and after speak

probably I will buy one of this xk for test .... are crazy cheap but we dont know the quality

That would be a four pole motor. Just count the segments on the shaft.(Under the fiber wrap stuff)

It looks neat and clean to me.

Now measure the laminations to the nearest one thousands of an inch.

that 4082 looks good. I just have to check with my leo 4082, but at least in the 4074 the armour looks not so beautiful like in that 4082 (pure carbon fibre), it's kinda glued, like in the 3650 pics.

For that money, great motors.
