WOW....The brushless bug has bitten everybody... - 05.18.2006, 06:26 PM

I was just reading through my new RC Car Action (new July issue) and I found 2 companys that have come out with brushless motors and escs in just 42 pages... Graupner (GM) is making a new brushless sensorless system as well as Dynamite making a mini motor. Yes, thats right....Dynamite...The GM esc is called the Genius and is rated for 80 amps but im not to sure about the motor. It appears to be for touring cars and small 1/10th scale vehicals but the esc looks promising. Its designed alot like the Mtroniks (solder post, hard case with heatsink, ect.). The Dynamite motor (dubbed C4) is for minis and is available in either a 8000 or 9200kv. Im sure you can find more out at Graupner.com and Dynamite.com

Well you no what they say. Once you go brushless you don't go back. :D
I think they just trying to stay up with the times. don't want to get left behind in the brushed era.

Peace!

Even more amazing is that Trinity is coming out with a BL motor, just another addition to the mini market though.

Dynamite is the one that really surprised me though. Im glad all this new stuff is sensorless too but I'm not sure if I would buy a Dynamite brushless motor.

Didn't people say it would happen sooner or later.

Squee that motor is a 6 pole motor so it would have massive torque with that RPM

Work because i gotta, play because i wanna

People here hate Nitro, I love it. I start it, run it about 50 ft from me and it dies, I go after it. Perfect exercise

Graupner's Genius 80 is out already. I'm not aware of its availability in the U.S., though.

Unless it's a different motor than I am thinking of, then it is the optional motor for their Night Ranger 3D helicopter.

The helicopter has been out for probably at least 5 months now. I was going to get one a few months ago, but limited funds and RC cars relinquished that idea.
