Need help finding a part - 05.21.2006, 07:50 PM

I need this http://cgi.ebay.com/OFNA-87048-Cente...QQcmdZViewItem

Only I want aluminium for hyper 7. I am getting too much flex with my recent conversion and eating spur gears so I am going to have the plate welded.

Help!!!! Please.

Do you have access to any tools that could allow you to make your own?

Kinda.
I have ALOT of tools but not a milling machine.
There is a bearing carrier in there that has to be perfect.

There has to be an aluminum one around somewhere.

NEEEEDDD TOOO FINDDD ONEEE.....

Just get one for another vehical....You might have to drill a couple of holes but it's better than milling one...

You don't need a mill. I've made 3 different motor/diff/slipper clutch mounts for my 1/8 buggy, and none have had any binding or strength issues. The thing that is hardest to do is to be able to afford the drill bits! A 16mm drill bit will cost upwards of $20.
I'll keep my eyes peeled for an aluminum mount compatible with the Hyper 7.
