I was wondering the same thing. There is one guy over at the Traxxas forum that says Integy suspension is junk. It seems that guy has a total UE truck. Those UE parts are very expensive. Either he has so much money he doesnt know what to do with or he works for UE. My guess is he works there. Anyway here is a thread that Mike just anwered the other day about the 2 suspensions. I trust what Mike says. He never steered me wrong yet.

G3 Race Suspension vs. Integy Suspenion

i have heard that integy suspension is weak and will break when you race on the track and take some hard hits. is this true. why is gmaxx better?

If you take a hard hit on the lower arms, they will bend. I have this suspension on more than one truck and bent one lower arm. I have seen broken UE arms, too. I replaced the lower arm with FastLaneMachine lower arms because I liked the design(strong) and haven't had any issues since. The suspension handles exceptionally well and is priced far below anything with comparable features and handling capabilities. I wouldn't worry about the strength of this suspension being a major issue. UE guys tend to bash anything that isn't UE. Don't get me wrong, the UE stuff is top notch, but top dollar, too.

integy breaking - 12.29.2004, 10:41 PM

As Mike will attest to - i am fairly tough on my Gmaxx with the integy suspension - now i havent had any direct hits on the arms to bend - but i have pounded the daylights ( to put it nicely ) out of my Gmaxx and i have had no problems with it. Just my .02:D
