motor mount - 05.30.2006, 10:55 PM

Just received my BL 9XL motor and Im concerned about the weight shift. If I use the stock motor mount the truck is very much unbalanced depending which side the motor is on. Doesnt this cause problems when jumping? Im using a FLM Chassis and was wondering if there is a motor mount that will center the motor. I looked at the Gorilla Max mount, but is says its for the X-Brace Chassis only.

Your kinda on your own as for mounts. I have however seen a couple that were home made that moved them motor ontop of the spur in the center and over the rear like the G-Maxx. Your best bet is to put the motor on one side and everything else on the other side. Reciever, servo, ect.

The g-maxx mount is weaker than stock.

The stock plate is tough, it's from relative hard aluminum.
