Springs for Big Bores - 06.21.2006, 05:16 PM

Hi

I have a G-Maxx with Big Bores and Dual Springs (Black and Yellow Springs). These springs are very hard and excellent for jumps.

Now I want to order these springs for a second g-maxx. Now Mike told me, that these springs aren't available any more. There have been som blue and yellow dual springs, which are a little bid softer than the black ones.

Does somebody has other ideas which springs I should use for jumping.

Thank you very much

Gusti

You want to use 8 shocks i presume?

I know Trinity or Integy has got this big bag full of springs.

Ok, with Big Bores, they are a smaller diameter. If you are going to use Trinity springs, you'll need to keep the ends of the stock shocks to have the spring to fit properly. with the top spring mount, you have the take a small amount of material off the old one and fit it OVER the one that comes with the big bores. This will the spring a perfect fit! The light blues work great....
