Question Custom Dogbones??? - 06.30.2006, 05:39 PM

Anyone know where I can get a custom set of dogbones made up? I need to find someone who can machine me a custom set from hard steel. Not aluminum or soft steel. These would be for a Mini lST that I have and keep twisting the dogbones. Its brushless and the entire driveraine is bulletproff with the exception of the dogbones. There arent any aftermarket dogbones out there for it and I cant use CVDs cuz of another mod to fit it with 1/10 wheels.

Any help in finding a source that can take my drawing and make me some custom parts would be aprecited. I think I saw a thread that had something about a shop that was doing custom bones somewhere on here in the past, but I can find it now.

Mike made some for me for my first BL Revo. Give him a holler and let him know what you need.

For now, id wait for mike to come back from vacation (he just left :p) And ask him about your desired dogbone.

The problem with nitro's these days are that they arent brushless... LOL

Whatever the case, I had ordered a very specific length, and they arrived the wrong size (forgot to account for the cups, Doh!), and then he got two more at the exact length I needed. I would guess he has someone make them to order.

I think he has a guy to make them for him. I not sure who. He can get you hooked if you know the length you need.

Peace!
