Strobe Slippers discontinued -

I was just informed by Robin at UE that the strobe slipper has been discontinued......:019:
Losi 8T 1.0, Savage Flux - XL style, LST XXL, Muggy, 3.3 E-Revo Conversion and sitting outside 425hp, 831 Tq Dodge Ram Turbo Diesel. It SMOKES

Yup, bad news, if you break one, how are you going to replace it? Are there other options besides the RR set up?

Worse than stock.
You could always try the MGT slipper. I think Leroy has tried them with brushless power with succes.

I thought leroy used the strobe with the MGT springs.

The mgt slipper is better than the stocker. You can even get a 52 tooth spur gear as well with a few other varieties. I guess some one will have to come up with a new design. That sucks. I wonder if they been taking lessons from proline. :D

I asked about getting copies of the design to get one machined myself and she said "You would have to talk to Strobe (Dave Strobeen) about that."
Anybody know him, or how to get in touch with him?

That would be cool, if you hear on that let me know. I know someone that does manufacturing with steel and aluminum, and he has the machine that laser cuts, drills, all that. It has like 5 or six arms that you program according to the templates you give him. he could make one as well.

Just a thought here, but maybe Mike could produce them?? Only problem when having somebody machine them for you is the pads...
