I have an idea for a simple and lowcost chassi extension modd :017:
one coud mount a front skidplate in the rear and put a pice of alu betvine the chassie and the bulhead and then have a extended e-maxx chassie right ?

Yup you could, you'd have to take the kickup out of the skid though, bend it straight, that's excactly what the g-maxx extension is really, only the top plate would be different for yours. There are some extended rear skids available that are the same length as the front, without the kickup.i've seen a few, obviously there's the gorilla one,i'm sure Mike can probably get the skid only,if you don't fancy making your own.

Ue has a mono block that you can put in the rear and won't need a skid or custom moding. It is a bolt in proceedure. Just need a longer shaft for rear.

The monoblock is the best for strength and simplicity. i actually sketched on out to have a machine shop make and then.....UE offered one so i canned my idea.

The other good option is the Fastlane Machine extended emaxx chassis w/braces for $90. It included the drive cups and dogbone for the rear.

The only verdict is that you can't rely on any of the ue parts that are out of stock...

The big q's are, WHEN or IF...
