Tekno Wing Mount for E-Maxx -
08.13.2006, 04:26 PM
What i wanted to find out is that If, i used the t-maxx 3.3 body mounts especially the rear would it fit onto a revo Tekno Wing Mount?
looks like it should bolt perfectly on to it. BUT, is the t-maxx 3.3 body mount the same length as the revo body mount? (meaning the top)
same length as revo???????

Length wouldn't be the concern, but the width of the body post...

I just thought of a way to find out...Check the Traxxas exploded views to see if there the same part number for the Revo and for the Maxx.
Edit: Well I just checked them and no, there not the same. Its quite obvious actually... But I don't think it will work. The Maxx post appear to be farther apart. My choice would be the FLM towers. They have 20 shock positions and can accept several different mounts I believe.

Well I'm about 83% sure it won't work, but I wouldn't get that version anyway. The new one they came out with is adjustable.

The new 3.3 towers and body post uses the square post. I don't know how much different they are.
Peace!

These are actually in stock - working on getting them listed in the store, along with the Neu motors, revo center diff and rear barke kits and some more new items.

I have the old Tekno Revo wing mount so I took a few measurements. Center to center on the mounting holes is 70mm wide and 25mm high. That is the same width (70mm) as the center shock mounting holes on the stock e-maxx shock towers to give you an idea.
